Our surveyors attend vessels after allision, grounding, fire, flooding and machinery failure to document damage, determine cause and separate new damage from pre-existing condition. The first survey drives the reserve, the repair scope and often the eventual recovery.
Beyond casualty work, we develop repair specifications, review shipyard bids, and attend through the repair period to verify workmanship, cost and schedule to redelivery. Unattended repairs drift in scope; continuous oversight keeps the yard accountable to the approved specification.
We also perform on-hire and off-hire condition surveys, trip-in-tow suitability approvals and independent salvage monitoring for owners, charterers and underwriters.
